Big handfuls of sweet basil give this sauce a wonderfully rustic flavour and texture. Simmered with generous amounts of De Bortoli Wines Pinot Grigio the end result is rich and moreish. Perfect on pasta and gnocchi or used in a hearty casserole or vegetable soup. Great served with parmagiana or home made pizza.
INGREDIENTS: Tomato, de Bortoli White Wine (8.9%), Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tomato Paste, green part only of the Spring Onion, Sugar, Salt, Fresh Basil (0.72%).
